FYI: Nicchie means Niches. Word origin: Derived from the Latin word nidus (nest).
In Italian this is also the name for a type of shell.
Bronze-drawn pasta, what is it?
It refers to the process by which the dough, made of water and semolina, is extruded, or passed under pressure, through a mold called matrix or more commonly “drawing” consisting of holes that generate the shape.
Why is bronze drawn pasta better?
The bronze die gives the pasta a rough surface which helps the sauce to hold better and makes every bite more delicious.
The pasta is called “bronze drawn” because the die used to form it is made of bronze.
Wholemeal Pasta Nicchie is available for both individuals and companies.
