Description
Olive oil flavored Herbs can be used on both roasted or grilled meat or fish; it can give an extra touch to vegetable bruschetta or simply on toast. It can also be used to flavor sauces, such as tomato puree.
The base of the flavored oils is Bourbon del Monte “Le Colline” olive oil.
This extra virgin olive oil, obtained from the pressing of green and/or dark olives, is distinguished by its richness in polyphenols.
These substances not only impart a distinctive flavor but are also effective antioxidants and extend the product’s shelf life.
This oil is extracted from typical Tuscan olives: Leccino, Moraiolo, Pendolino, and Correggiolo. The olives are pressed within 24 hours of harvest and cold-pressed to preserve the fruit’s properties and nutritional value.
N.B: This oil must always be used cold to finish the dish.
If reheated, it may take on a bitter and/or burnt flavor.
